Kulanee Issadisai, DBD's director-general, said the DBD will select a shop from each of the 77 provinces to become a Thong Fah Pracha Rat shop. "Local markets and the Thong Fah Pracha Rat shops will act as a major mechanism to help boost local economies. Pilot projects will help train retail shops in local areas to be more effective and support their local economy," said Ms Kulanee.
